My £9 Camera was horrible to shoot, but.....

I bought an Olympus Superzoom 700BF at auction for £9 and the shooting experience was awful with noisey, clunky zoom and hair-triggered shutter release but these Kentmere 100 (developed in 510-Pyro) shots look OK to me.

Bargains are out there! I like the bottom (grass/blooms) more than the top (tree roots). Not sure how far away you may have been but the water/sea seems blown out to me and somewhat distracting.

Thanks. It was a lake and yes it is blown out. I can't control anything with the exposure on that camera so I know now that I will need to be more careful with composition. I was quite pleased with the second shot towards the sun and no flare, unlike the results I used to get with a mju II I had (and sold while they are still in vogue).
