of Telemark Norway is known to be the cradle of the skis and every born Norwegian is said to be born with skis. I am not going to show you that and not the winter either. That shall have to wait. But I would like to take you with me on a trip from the seaside of my county to the top of the largest mountain platou in the northern hemisphere, where the highest mountain shoots up in the air to a level of 1884 meters above sea level. I'll even bore you with two sequences. I am not boasting, just am glad I am able to enjoy this environment and hoperfully you shall like it too.

and as autumn has reached the mountains of telemark, well this is what it looks like certain places. I hope you like this first leg of our jour5ney?

Great insight into your environment Ivar. Pure and refreshing.
Nice selection and individually each shot is good and the structure and it's reflection in the fourth to last is very strong.

It looks idyllic. Do you get plagued with midges (flies) in the summer? They are a real pain in certain parts of Scotland, usually the beautiful landscape parts, throughout the summer. If you don't, I'm coming to live there. Move over!

I was plagued with midges when we lived in Co. Mayo in the West of Ireland. Where we built our house seem to turn into a sanctuary for the little .............
My only visit to Scotland was to the Isle Of Skye for a lone walking holiday and despite all the warnings I received before leaving, was blessed with two weeks of Med style sunshine and not a midge in sight.

Thank you everyone. I wasn't sure this would be a thing to do so I'm glad you liked it. In summer we are at times as in Scotland bothered with midge up on the plains, but not in september when we were there, actually this was last week. It's high up in the plateou and I'll take you up there in my next series. Everything is about three hours drive away from the very south to the far north in the county.
