This is Palm Avenue in Huntington Beach, California. It's aptly named.
I took this shot about 6am one morning with my Holga 120N and Kodak Tri-X film. I developed the film in Rodinal.
I love mine. Actually I have two. I don't shoot with them all that often, but I find the images interesting. At the moment I prefer shooting color through the Holgas. Ektar and Portra 400 bith turn out good vivid color and the slight distortion from the plastic lens is appealing. Thanks Hamish. How do you find it as a camera?
Thanks, Paul. I can attest that in real life it was more peaceful than sinister that morning. Thanks again.A very arresting image and it seems to be paradoxically somewhere between sinister and peaceful.
Southern Cal is actually too cold for coconut palms.
