My new macro-rig...

[Rense Haveman]

Some of you asked for photos of my new macro-rig (see here: http://www.realphotographersforum.com/specialist-macro-photography/5105-my-new-macro-rig.html if you want proof ). Well, made some provisional shots this afternoon to show.

Ah, and crafted in the finest, hand-tooled gaffa tape too. Wonderful stuff! It certainly works well and the diffuser creates very realistic lighting. Thanks for sharing.

Yes of course I can, Hamish!

Lens combo: Panagor 90mm F2.8 PMC auto macro - it comes in Kiron and Vivitar varieties too - and a reversed Pentax-A 50mm F1.7
Diffuser: just cardboard with alu-foil inside, and a one layer rather thick white plastic bag in front, all taped together with gaffer tape....

You should! Without doing one real photography thing, it kicked my results to a higher level!
