Need to get out more...

Unfortunately, I still struggle to find the time to get out with my camera, due to one thing or another; and with no internet on my home PC (due to a knackered Ethernet card) it means I cant access RPF as much as I would like.
Anyway, I made a concious effort to take home a Sigma 150-500 lens from work, with the intention of trying my hand a wildlife photography...
I got these...:-D

Turns out Im not very good at the whole wildlife thing afterall.

aaah the lesser spotted organ donor in its natural environment ;)
very nice mate ... looks like you got that panning technique going quite well :)

Great shots, the RSVR is a stunning bike and I like the way hes hunched down under the screen!

I will never forget driving home from work one evening last summer, when someone on a RSV4 past me (going the oposite way) like I was parked, he was going rediculously fast! I dont think I will ever see anything again going that speed on a single carridge A road!

Great shots Barry!

The speed of a bike is addictive :-) I have had my (track prepared) Yamaha R1 up to 340 km/h, just the thought of falling at that speed scares me though......

Love #1 - you really captured Bikus Fasticus in it's natural environment ;)

Thanks very much, I really do appreciate that :-)
That USB dongle got stood on when it was hanging out of the USB port on the front of my pc :-(
Cheers Chris, I totally disregarded the shot when I took it, and once I got it home I cropped it (minimally) and fell in love with it. I dont know whether its because I love bikes or because its a good shot in general that I like it soo much?
I think the RSV is slightly out of focus, and I believe thats because I was focusing on the bland black front fairing when I should have been focusing on his visor. Outside of that, he was overtaking (opposite side of the road) and I gave it a shot anyhow.
