Wow, I can't believe these are iPhone shots! Quite Amazing. I like #1, #2 and the last one.

#2 looks like a district that I would like to explore :).
 
All are very good aren't they. I like the Kodachrome-ish color quality in 5 and 6 especially. The selective focus in the Hiroshima one works very well for that particular image, too.
 
loving the whole set , great colours and DoF .... if i was forced under penalty of death to pick one i'd go for number 3

Wow, you got about a bit. I recognised the Golden Temple and, although I've not been there, the building in the Peace Park is pretty iconic (and I must say that yours is one of the best pictures of it I've seen) but, for me, it's the city street scenes that capture Japan best: narrow streets full of people and tons and tons of signs. All those shops that you have no idea what they are selling!
 
Wow - in my day, we got a trip to the chip shop - not an exchange visit to Japan! :D

Very nice use of the iPhone and Aps - I like #2 - It sums up Japan for me :)

Haha i've seemed to have a good run with trips during school i think.. New Zealand in '08. Japan in 10/11.. plus trips to sydney and canberra. Haha I love my teachers!

Fantastic photos, Brodie. I have nothing to add that hasn't already been said, but I wanted to add my two cents. You've certainly captured the feeling and character of Japan.
