Nothing Special

Just thought I'd snap a fotie of the limbs of a Blue Leaf Eucalyptus outside a local shopping mall. Don't know why I felt compelled to shoot this since there is nothing special about it. I like what the plastic lens did to the image though.

Anyway, the camera was my Holga 120N and I was using Fomapan 100 ASA film. I developed the film in Rodinal.

Cor you can really see the corner softening on this!
I saw a thing on using holgas for taking vanishing point photos and how effective it is because of the soft and dark corners!
I think you have just proven the point

Thanks Hamish. Yeah it really shows up here. I have twoi such Holgas. It would be interesting to take the same shot with both and see the differences in the lenses.

For "nothing special" it's pretty darn nice. I like how the trees mirror the converging lines of the wall and parking stops. Very effective composition.

Looks almost T&S Brian - very cool - almost 3D in fact!

Tilt and shift

Very different to T&A :D
