I'll let Rob fill in the details on the instrument

Wow, nice shot and peice that he's holding.
I should really get back into my strings again...... :)

Just a travel guitar. I'm travelling at the moment, but have a ukulele with me - even smaller.

In London taking photos, among other things, but have forgotten to bring my battery charger! I have two batteries, so have to remember to switch off, and only shoot as if it were film. A useful discipline!

Thanks Dan - didn't know you played?

Very good Photo Chris.

Thanks Julian - he was one of those lucky finds - I was there for the coffee, but had the camera with me, and there he was, playing away. I did ask first, as it's difficult to go incognito with the Blad!

Never heard of a travel guitar Rob - is it just a cut down model to save size/weight?

Looking forward to your London pics - sounds like a challenge!

If all else fails you could no doubt buy a charger in London somewhere, but the discipline of the power budget might produce an interesting result (or just less shots) ;)

Nice one, Chris.

That's the Martin version of a travel guitar. (I used to have a Washburn travel guitar that I took with me on a few business trips; very useful for practice away from home, but very poor sound. I'm sure the Martin sounds better.)

Thanks Brian - have to admit it didn't sound very impressive, but I was so wrapped-up taking the shot that I didn't think to ask!

Nice collection Axe Man Dan;).

Just back to the hotel from the Bowie exhibition at the V&A museum. Stunning! I want to buy all his albums again. It was very interesting watching my 16-year old daughter's face change as she walked round. She thought is was 'insane'. A lad insane, I said, and she got it. She is now a fan. I saw the Aladdin Sane tour when it came to Dundee when I was 14. Today I relived the whole experience. Best exhibition I think I've ever seen.

Well, it's sold out until mid August. We were devastated, until we found out we could sign Rhona up for a discounted annual membership, and she is allowed a guest ... Which just HAD to be me  And that allowed us free entry to the exhibition. Susan spent her time in the William Morris Room, which is also stunning, but in a more sober way, perhaps. No photography allowed, though...
