Critique Welcomed Passage of time set

Just a few shots for the theme of 'Passage of time', I think I have found the style I like to shoot, not sure what everyone else thinks but I am using a hybrid of colour and black and white to give focus on certain parts of the photo using colour, with the rest in high contrast black and white.

Anyway, enough talking, here are the photos of a quick set:

These are really interesting, David. Love the watch!

Thank you, I shot the clock and the watch at a slow shutter speed so its blurred the pendulum and the balance wheel on the watch :)

I seem to like the higher contrast black and white images, they were all shot on my D3100, the abstract sun dial (which is actually a desk clock) seems to have been bumped to a high ISO so its got some digital noise which is unfortunate. The watch is my favorite as well.

Its come about as I have been scanning in some of my friends images from his film camera (borrowed from me lol) and I scanned them in for him and adjusted the levels to get the colours correct. I then had a play around with some of them as if I had shot them and came across a style I liked. I decided to do this set of items with the things I had around me - I don't have that much space in my room or indeed small interesting items (mainly larger interesting items lol).

I thought I would have a go :)

These are very nice David and the way you have handled the selective colour works well. Looking forward to seeing how this develops.

Thank you Pete, that means a lot.
