Pentewan Beach

The weather at the moment in Cornwall is normal for June or at least it feels so. Windy wet driving rain pushing Holiday campers to return home early. This afternoon the rain stopped and I took a quick look at one of the nearby beaches. First sight it was visually bland but a nice leveling kind of bland. A couple of quick shots. I only know how to dodge and burn and sharpen a little so no great wonders more an observation. It at least got me out the house for a short while.

Loving the pano crop format, and the color palettes is both shots

That 1.4 lens is looking good at f11

I have fond memories of a geography field trip to Cornwall in the sixth form - rained all week apart from the day we went down a tin mine - where we got dripped on all day! :D

Thanks all, the spray of the small waves was what i saw and with the strong off shore wind it was not a good idea to change lens as there was a lot of sand blowing through the air.
