Just had a look at Pete's website: babelsberg studio photographer and have come here to sing his praises. I love every one of those images - some of which he has shared with us here. Wonderful technique, but emotion too - with which Pete achieves a rare balance.

But I'd also like to thank him for all the help he dishes out on this forum. Imagine the place without him! I doubt there is one regular here who has not benefitted from his wise and often humorous comments.

Thanks, Pete. And, yes, I'm happy to have embarrassed you You have managed to inspire me, and make me want to give up, both at the same time...

You have Rob. I almost don't know what to say... But thank you.

I really enjoy RPF and think Hamish really has created something special. I get huge amounts of stimulation and inspiration from what I get to see here and the discussions that ensue. As I discussed with Hamish and Paul, I have been lacking inspiration of late and find it difficult to get on with some of the projects I have lying around - as you can see, I am still shooting but not with any real direction as such. But if there is one place that that is going to get me going properly it will be RPF and all you good folks here.
