Photos that inspired you

Prompted by Curts comment on Bryan being inspired by Dans image I thought I'd start a thread on what photos inspired us the most ...

I'm hoping people have a couple of images they can pin point as images that have had a big chunk of inspiration on thier photography, directly or indirectly

Here are a couple of Cartier Bresson images that do a lot for me!

When ever I think about going out to take photos the first thing that pops into my head is always silhouette figures ...
Well that's because of those 2 photos!

Nice thread rolling, there is only one photo for me and I know you have all seen it so many times.

Diane Arbus' Child with Toy Hand Grenade in Central Park, New York City (1962)

Arbus captured this photograph by having the boy stand while moving around him, claiming she was trying to find the right angle. The boy became impatient and told her to "Take the picture already!"

For me this picture is very special, I saw it while flicking through a book at college someone had left behind, I was imediatley stuck by it,it stopped me in my tracks.
I love how many emotions it evokes in me, that's what inspires me
