Piddle Brook runs quite close to where I live and it often floods quite dramatically for a small brook. Over the Ford is a footbridge which has seen better days and certainly isn't of a rural style. More Thomas Telford than anything, perhaps this reflects the levels the ford reaches at peak floods...
