While out with the grandkids today, I had a few spare seconds to shoot some of the flora at the gardens

The DoF on the first is immense! But my fav is the last one.
I'm so not ****ing jealous of this **** excuse of a lens you've got, I reckon you should send it to me and don't embarrass your self any further than you need to..... :/

I am a little confused as to the one you call Bananas though, I've only ever found them growing in trays

Thanks chaps - the lens does allow you to try new takes on things, and I'm loving it!

The grass shot was also into the light, so a good case of breaking the rules.

Kev - this is a different species of banana. These don't have the same distinctive markings as yours
