Just two test shots this afternoon with my inexpensive ND1000 filter which I purchased in China. Finally I have a chance test it!

Is one without the filter, presumably the bottom one.
Both a good clean images and well composed.

You don't have to apologize Tom. There is the sunset reflected in the middle of the sea on the #1 and there is no reflection on #2

Quite eerie Aldous. The lights are on but no-one's home! Nice.
