Random Round Pershore

Not being known for anything near street this is a trial project aimed at taking random shots at ten pace intervals as I walked around town then sampled street sound and combining it in the form of a vidshow.

Apols for the 5 minute length, and that town was very quiet today but like I said a trial to see if it works..

Very effective Kev and I especially like the soundtrack. I like the alleyways you intersperse throughout. The one thing I found a bit odd was the forward and backwards 'zooms'. I felt this detracted a touch and would have liked it to be constantly forward but maybe that's just me.

Cheers Pete, just a preset I used and apart form lens correction no editing, so a quick trail.

I haven't decided exactly how I want future vids to look yet so feedback is important, thanks again.

I like this kind of work and good on you for doing this. From a viewers point of view I found the transitions a bit too regular and would like to have dwelt a bit longer on each scene. This would have suited the the soundtrack better too in my opinion.

Thanks @Tom Dunne I think that the next one will be more specific and targeted to an area/street, and the soundbites will be recorded around the shots rather than after.

I think then there will be more to explore..thanks afain foryour feedback, most helpful

Kev I like this a lot,...especially the soundtrack matched to apparently unrelated images; it gives the work a very ghostly aura, as if you're hearing what was happening at that spot 50 or 100 years ago.
