Critique Welcomed Red Autumnal Leaves

Lovely autumn color palette Aldous, and I like the shallow depth of field, especially in #1

The trees here seem to be holding onto their leaves late this year - is it the same with you?

Thanks Chris. I think the leaves hold late this year as well. Normally the weather in Hong Kong now is not as cold as usual, many leaves ain't as red as as they used to be

Very nice! So, are you pleased with the lens? There certainly dones look to be anything to have concern over ... I'm definitely interested to hear how you feel it compares to the ziess!

Yes, I am very pleased with this old len on my M9P, I think the overall image shot by this len is just a classic taste and that makes me a old len fans. I am not sure for the photo quality if output this len with any CMOS cameras, however if you have own a film camera or Leica M, this len really worth the price. Hope it helps Hemish

It certainly does! I am only shooting film at the mo and seeking out a less modern look in my lenses ... I find modern glass increasingly clinical and I don't like it. I recently bought a zeiss 35mm f2 biogon and am not happy with it ... The goal is to replace it with something older and more painterly in its rendering! I think for that same reason I would enjoy this elmarit!

If you're shooting film that you must get the elmarit 90/2.8, per my knowledge all Leica old lens work better on film than in digital. I have got a Carl Zeiss Biogon T 21/2.8 which I think the color is kind of too vivid to me.
