Here's the pier at San Clemente, just North of San Diego - as the sun had set this evening.

Cross processed shot for Pete :)

16:9 crop - looses some of the sky which I think tightens things up a little

Also suspect that the JPEG engine in Photoshop has lightened it a touch - could be my imagination though...

Now that's nice!!! Good eye candy this is chris. Love it!!!

Chris .. im itching to ask you if you would consider applying your skill to something more abstract with your skills

have a look at this shot on the silver efex site ...

http://www.niksoftware.com/silverefexpro/usa/entry.php?view=usa/features.html#all_in_one_workflow

its obvious there is a very similar thought idea going on in this chaps head ...

im not saying just copy that ... but the smooth sky is lovely ...
perhaps something similar over some of those lovely rocks you live near

Basically Id like a new header for the site ... its not easy to find somthing that works in such an aspect ratio, but some nice smooth sky with some nice red rocks in the foreground might look nice
maybe with the sun in the background too like I was saying before?

you up for the challenge?

you would need to take into account the position of the logo too ... have a think!

Roger that - will get my thinking cap on :)
