DP1M. Nik for toning.

You know, I've been here a hundred times, but have rarely seen any of these boats out on the river. Status symbols? Maybe I'm just not getting there at the right time.

Like how the conglomeration of vertical masts conflict with the horizontal of the bridge and it's grid. Had to look for a while to see where the rascal was seeing the scarecrow but it was just in front of me all the time.

Yes, they do, don't they? Funny that. The eye wanders around frantically, then settles on the two humans. Of course, I planned all that. The models were expensive, but worth it. But how come I have to pay two ugly guys to model for me, when Chris gets beautiful women to pay HIM?! o_O @Chris Dodkin

Lovely wrap around feel to this image Rob

You'll need to charm your models more if you want them FOC ;)

Excellent shot Rob. The people add a great perspective and feel.
I live around a multitude of million dollar yachts that rarely see a human onboard. Wasteful decadence comes to mind.

Thanks, Glenn. No million-dollar yachts around here, I think, but they still languish unused. Maybe they have a posh regatta once a year, when they pretend they have million-dollar yachts.

Ha! I can hear the "music" from The Birds - Bernard Herman wrote many wonderful music scores (Psycho, Taxi Driver, Citizen Kane, and may others). But for The Birds he just electronically manipulated sounds of real birds. So, there is no "real" music in the film. Just some info for ya!

Nice image Rob, and I agree with Brian, the inclusion of the figures seems to tie it all together.

I also agree with Pete, but I'm sad to know you have to pay those guys. Charm them I guess you would not even try as they are blokes. Last time I was there, the boats were all in mud.

I really like this image, Rob. The B&W tonality and contrast is perfect.
