Sea Power II

I returned to the same beach this evening, but chose a new location higher up the cliff.

Much clearer day today, in fact, you can see the mountains all the way up to Irvine in this shot!

The sea still makes it's own mist of course - that really softens up the long exposures.

Oooooohhh !!!!! Now that's lovely!! Nice colours.

Thats nioce matey ... I do like (not wanting to sound to art critic like) the juxtaposition of the industrial and natural ... i think it always works in photography nicely ...

is it straight ... ... ? has your bubble level been on the fizz again ;)

Hamish - you're such an art critic! ;)

I keep looking at the chimney and thinking it's wonky - but I've checked the horizon on the sea with the level tool in the RAW importer and it's bang on.

I think it's all the slopes in the shot that throw your eye off - that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it! LOL

True, so true!

Here's a 'level' version, with blurry surfer in the ocean removed as well - saved in the larger 1600 x 900 image size, you should be able to open in a new window at full size if you're so inclined :)
