Another shot I kinda like, not sure if I have the right PP here there's something really bugging me about it. I don't really like the shaft of light and having just reviewed all the shots I took of these (79) this is really the best of the bunch. My main idea was to capture some movement in the dress. Which I did a few times, there are a few that I like and may possibly process these. The main problem I had here was the mic stands, I have a really nice shot but she has a mic stand growing out of her eye!

but there's still something about it that bugs me.......

I love the composition but I can sort of see what you mean. I wonder if it is the density / colour of his face / shirt / arm compared with her. Maybe if it had the same tone?

Yeah, you could be right Pete, I think it's a colour thing. This is defiantly worthy of a revisit....

Not sure to be honest, I did think that's who it was at first, but then I'm old and senile!

I love this picture. I like the shaft of light. I like both of them in fact. I like the tone/color difference between she and he. If I were to nitpick, I'd prefer to see that first mic stand gone away. But, I love the picture even with it.

yea, mic stand is the problem for me, i really like the pp!

maybe if he was further left in the frame? maybe a crop to make him less central ..?

can we see some of the moving skirt ones then?

I can do that for you Hamish only if you sort out you sig, I'm getting the hump with having my mouse pointer on the page and rolling the wheel to scroll down and it happens to be on you sig so it scrolls down one pixel. I know it's no hardship to move the pointer, but hey I'm lazy!

i have only just noticed this myself!! grrrr now it will also iritate.

(if Hamish removes the last <br> in his sig that should clear it, else play with the <p> tags to align it)

your sig or post has a scroll bar down the side , so if my mouse is over your post and I go to scroll down with the wheel it will scroll your post down 1 pixel instead of the page. You need to sell off some stuff to make your sig smaller
