Seaport Village - X-Pro1 and 35mm f1.4 Lens

Took a lunchtime wander through a local tourist hotspot in San Diego - Seaport Village.

Armed with the X-Pro1 and the 35mm lens - also a CPL filter which arrived yesterday, and proved useful as an ND filter when shooting wider apertures in sunlight (as well as being a polarizer of course).

Note: The lens hood on the 35mm lens makes rotating a filter a nightmare - you end up taking the hood off, rotating the filter to suit, then re-attaching the hood. - Pain in the rear! :(

Anyway - a few shots - all from in camera JPEG:

Thanks Brian and Rob - I did take some non close-up shots, but they just didn't have the same appeal to me as the close-up stuff.

Based on using the Fuji lens hoods yesterday, I have placed an order for a vented metal hood for the 35mm and 18mm lens today, so we'll see how that works out,

Found a nice 52mm threaded metal filter designed for 'Leica Summicron' on EBAY - so hoping that will do the job and allow access to CPL etc.

That's step one Pete - however the hood will take a different filter size inside (62mm I think), so if I like the hood I'll get a new CPL and move on from there.
