Took a lunchtime wander through a local tourist hotspot in San Diego - Seaport Village.
Armed with the X-Pro1 and the 35mm lens - also a CPL filter which arrived yesterday, and proved useful as an ND filter when shooting wider apertures in sunlight (as well as being a polarizer of course).
Note: The lens hood on the 35mm lens makes rotating a filter a nightmare - you end up taking the hood off, rotating the filter to suit, then re-attaching the hood. - Pain in the rear!
Anyway - a few shots - all from in camera JPEG:
Giant Nutcracker at f1.8 in 'close up' mode
Reflection in sunglasses at f1.4 in 'close up' mode
Spanish/Mexican style tile at f2 in 'close up' mode
Eye eye Captain! Pirate at f2 in 'close up' mode
Balloon Man at f2.8
Heart in the tree bark at f4 in 'close up' mode
Millinery shop at f5.6 in 'close up' mode - note lack of moire pattern on the cap
Cactus on the cob at f2.8 in 'close up' mode
'King of beers' at f2 in 'close up' mode
