Self Portrait in a DeSoto Hubcap

Took this at the Huntington Beach Concours last Sunday. The wheel belongs to a DeSoto Airflow from the mid-1930s. The DeSoto was a division of Chrysler at the time and the Airflow was a seminal design (also released as the Chrysler Airflow) in that it was--I believe--the first real aerodynamically-designed car. The car you see in the hubcap is a Chrysler Airflow. Don't know who that other bloke is. Took this with my Canon 7D.

Thank you Lesley. Yeah,...I didn't mind--in fact I liked--that he stood there, oblivious to his feature role. Thanks again, Lesley.

Wheely good Brian - I'd never get tired looking at it - I'll tread lightly though, and not put you under any pressure
