Sex Pistils

Walking past a charity shop today, I saw a beautiful book of Robert Mapplethorpe's "Pistils". £20. I couldn't resist. I've only seen a couple of his calla lilies before, but there are many, many in this book that just blow me away. Very inspiring. Just thought I'd mention it.

Nice find, Rob. I have the more recent Flora, that compiles all of his flower images. He produced some superb still life's.

I trust yours is as well produced as this one - nice paper, good reproductions. He was apparently dismissive about his flower shots, but he certainly did a lot of them.
