Shoes Theme

Peter posted a great shot of his work shoes the other day

Set me thinking that we could do a theme/competition on 'Shoes'

Everyone has them, so easy to shoot something, and still massive creative possibilities to 'tell a story' or get arty

Get us all shooting and posting.

Individual shoes, shoes on feet, shoes at locations, lots of shoes together, shoes in stores, shoe prints, worn shoes, new shoes, fashion shoes, work shoes, parts of shoes.

No limit on creativity, other than a close on the theme at the end of October.

So let's see 'em

Great pics everyone, here's my everyday shoes

Some great looking shoes here. Good idea for a theme. Here are four of my shoe shots from a climb in 2009.

1. Climbing the easier class 4 stuff we rested and sat on a ledge. The tiny yellow dot down below is my tent.

2. Reaching the spot where the technical climbing begins we changed into climbing shoes. Our mountaineering boots wait patiently for our return.

3. A pair of climbing shoes making an interesting ascent.

4. The whole shot from which the previous image was cropped.

Lots of boots and a pair of sandals...do these qualify for shoes? I think we need a committee meeting...As this is a competition (with an undetermined, but clearly high, monetary prize) I would hate to have my nice shoe stamped all over by these brutish boots! Referee!
