I've tried a second abstract, but they aren't really my thing. I don't know where I'm going and they seem to have a mind of their own. I think I will put this one to bed and then I will do the same...
Every time I make this kind of shots, I get shots like this in which the trees and even the horizontal structures are recognisable. The 'smoother' ones I posted earlier are longer exposures, or with faster movement (both getting more or less the same result). Of course there's no good or bad in this case, it's all a matter of taste....
Thanks to everyone - especially Rense. I could obviously see at the time that there were recognisable bits, but I was rather limited with space. There were bright bits of sky at the top and not much of interest at the bottom. It's clearly a very hit and miss kind of thing with results also depending on light, colour (and straightness of trees). Wasn't there a fad a few years ago where people set up long exposures and threw the camera in the air? Has anyone been brave enough to try it?
Wow Zooey ! I really like this.
You're right. Not your usual style but very very nice.
I've got a bunch of things going on and haven't kept
up but I'm going to have to explore this thread and learn
more of what and how
