This was taken a week or so ago, on a bright but perishingly cold spring morning at Weston-Super-Mare.
The tide here goes out a very long way, and this was taken from the rebuilt Pier looking into the sun to catch the reflections on the still damp sand.

I played with this shot for hours wondering why it didn't look right..till I finally thought to try a wide crop....
It works for me...
