Soft PHARMACIE, Paris

Nice one, Brian. Like the guy's lean forward, and the poster girls (mum and daughter?) looking at us.
Thanks very much, Rob.

I enjoy your work with Rodinal, Brian. :)

Very kind of you, Nihat. I ran out of Rodinal in December or early January and I've been using instant coffee as an alternative developer since. But I'll be getting some more Rodinal next time I'm up at Freestyle and I'm looking forward to using it again.

What you do is magic, Brian. Coffee and film development!.. Talk about two pleasant addictions combined. :)

B-Movie - great description Pete

It's just so French Brian - love the theatrical neon sign dominating the shot - almost looks like a movie poster from the 40s

I wouldn't take much off if anything. I like the dark space to the right - it adds mystery - and if I were going to crop I would maybe take a touch off the bottom and then a sliver off the right to keep the format in the same aspect ratio. I don't know, some people are just crop-crazy! ;)

Thanks, Pete. I wasn't sure about the darkness on the right. I considered cropping before uploading but I felt that making it symmetrical would unbalance the aesthetic (if that makes any sense) so I left it alone. It's a little off square due to some haste in composing and also due to the slope in the street. This is why I left it as is. You've settled the matter for me. I'm leaving it be.

Thanks again, Pete.
