I was in San Francisco a couple of years ago and with me I had my Konica I from 1949.

The first shot shows the Sir Frances Drake Hotel from a conference room in the Westin, just down the road. I was staying at the Drake and was attending a meeting at the Westin.

The second shot is taken from a balcony on the Drake. (You can see that balcony in the first picture. My room had a window that opened--although it wasn't supposed to--onto the balcony, so I could climb out there and take pictures.)

I don't remember seeing these before. Love the shadow in the first but the second is my favourite by far. What with the poster and the Huntingdon Hotel in the distance. I'm glad you braved the ledge / balcony.
