I'd say it's because they are pretty

This is a very nice one I think the light has worked very well here to create a natural vignette ...

Very nice Pete - I like the deep green sheen on the leaves as well - really sets off the pink

Was it an overcast day?

I like overcast days now - they make for better flower shots!
