I'm not sure,...being not so computer savvy,...but I think its the "BBB Code" or something that you have to use,...? (I don't upload via Flickr, though, so I may be completely wrong.)

William I checked out you fb page and I am impressed. Not just due some very fine street photography, but also the portraits you have painted. Wonderful stuff. My brother and you share similarities of style in some ways.

Thanks fellow artists - glad to have joined. Rob, I did try to link from flickr and in the post it only showed an icon. Perhaps someone can clue me into a way to attach a jpeg that is viewable. But that is a small matter and I'm not too concerned - what is important is to get and share good info - best!

welcome to rpf.

on flickr when you're looking at the photo (not the thumbnails on your photostream, you'll need to click on the photo) look on the bottom right of the black area. there's a box with an arrow coming out of it. click on that icon, choose bbcode and change the size in the drop down box to 900 px or so on the long side. copy and paste the code into your forum post.

Welcome William!

I've fixed your original image link - look alike an interesting group - how did they take to being photographed?

Chris - some nice chit-chat goes a long way - and a fine blend of confidence/foolishness/luck/skill. On any given day I can be heavy in one of those 4 areas and lacking in others.

William, from looking at these shots, I'd say you have a talent for creating a rapport with the characters in them - no easy feat, I'm sure. Which is why you get such good images, I'd say. Glad you found us!

All: I watched one of William's videos that he posted on facebook. It was about 4 mins long, silent (except for the music), and consisted of some local characters walking along and apparantly chatting to William. It was fascinating to me. And the music was a delightful compliment to the video. Here's the link.
