Thanks Rob, much appreciated. I had to do some more shots using the DIY camera over the next few weeks but it is difficult to focus at the moment and I need to go back to the specialist on the 30th and so will be heading back to the UK earlier than I planned. Any July will be hot maybe it'll be a few more like these instead!!
The first was one you showed me the other day and I love it. Actually, that's not a good enough word. The set is superb, the tones are wonderful. I just don't have the vocabulary to praise them
I don't think it quite the same as the diffusion is only controlled by the aperture and I guess the degree is dependent on dispersion. The Cooke lens was designed in the late 19th century and has been updated with modern coating etc.
