A collection of my favorite flower photos that were taken using a sheet of black foam-core board as the background. I currently use a tripod, high-lumen flashlight, and post-process the image in Photoshop Elements to ensure a completely black background. I use my camera's 10 second delay, which allows me time to light the flower from an angle that results in the least amount of illumination of the foam-core board. Again, I make final adjustments in post to create a completely black background. It's a great indoor, rainy day project. It does take a little practice!
