Hi all,
I decided to go outside and do a simple study of what textures I could find around before it got too dark, partly to get me shooting and partly for me to learn more lightroom. It was getting a bit dark and I put limits on my camera so that it doesn't go for stupidly high ISOs, the trade off being is that my kit lens can't open that wide meaning shutter speeds are a tad slow in some cases although I have tried my best. The blurred plant at the bottom is a long shutter speed but I have tweeked it slightly to make it slightly more useable as a more abstract image.
Anyhow, let me know if any of them are any good or indeed any hints and tips of a different angle or crop for them, i'm still learning.
Lock and wall:
Bricks (no colour added just been creative with the saturation)
Window and wall (might need a bit more of a crop)
Fence:
Bird water bath
Patio
Blurred plant
