Hermosa Beach, California. Minox 35GT with expired Fuji 200 film.

Looking south.

A few moments later...Same camera, same film, same processing, same scanning.

Looking north.

The leaves on the palm trees show the strength of the wind very clearly. I like a good bracing wind :-)

Have you learned to pronounce the l in palm yet, Brian? I believe Americans haven't heard of a silent l. But I suppose if it's silent, you wouldn't hear it anyway...

They call them "pom" trees, Rob. They know their silent Ls around these parts.

Great pair of images. Remarkable that they were both taken at the same time; they look as if they were taken in different decades.

Very good. I have a friend from New England, who pronounces the l. Insists that's the way it is. Polm.
New Englanders talk funny, Rob.

Thanks Dave, much appreciated.

That's why the film had expired! ;)
Its some kind of mad time warp, Pete. Photography induces that.
