Kevin is one of Scotland's finest traditional players, usually on mandolin and related instruments, such as this National Steel Tenor Guitar. We met for the first time today, although he only lives five minutes away - we had been Facebook friends for a year before learning this fact! - and we played a few tunes together. A fine man, and a fine player.

Very good environmental potrait I'd say, no need to see everything all the time. It shows his love for what he's doing. Great shot and light here.

A superb portrait and I think the lighting has worked in your favour, giving a nice balance and allowing him to be slightly darker against the background while still perfectly exposed.
