Critique Welcomed The Real (Mexican) Thing

There's a big push over here, to return to the 'good old days' - when Coke was made with plain old sugar, and not high fructose corn syrup.

You can buy the old school Coke from Mexico, where they still use the old recipe apparently!

Nicely done Chris and interesting that you avoided a cliched red shot! :)

Thanks Pete - I was tempted by the red, but my B&W sense prevailed

Nearly went 1:1 as well, but my widescreen sense prevailed on that one! :D

i had some in ireland made with vegetable extract. that was odd. mexico, eh? wonder what else they add in besides that good old fashioned, white powdery substance?

Pretty sure the only thing you should drink in Ireland would be Guinness or Whiskey Beth!

Love the detail and contrast Chris...but remember...don't drink the water.

Thanks Glenn - don't worry I won't even cross the border, it's rather sketchy to say the least. Too many drunk tourists as easy targets makes for a rather high crime area.

The Mexican Coke has made it's way into the big stores these days - I see it at CostCo, Ralphs etc in southern California.

Love the big clunky glass bottles too - so retro.

they didn't have any.. yea, i was a bit confused by that too. it was the lunch counter at giants causeway.

WTF?

Must have drunk it all already Beth - that's the only possible answer :D
