The way my mind works

Does it take long for Fuji to get the free lens to you?

That's what I was thinking, I was looking at £450 second hand for 2 lenses whereas with this deal providing I even get £100 for the x-a1 I get both for £199

Go for it Davie. The XT-1 is excellent and so much like handling an old film camera such as the Nikon FE. I don't know about the XC lenses, though they are reputedly very good. I have the XF 18-55 and 55-200. The XT-1 has a panoramic feature so you can save yourself the dehydration of drooling. ;) It is not a full blown pano and needs a little care but does a job.
I love the pano on the x100s and if the x-t1 Is the same I'm going to be very happy with it indeed :)

They quote 45 days which probably includes a 14 day exclusion ( like the cashbacks which cannot be claimed until 14 days after purchase) to counter the cheeky buggers who buy, claim, return the camera kit and wait for the (truly) free lens to arrive.

I received £100 as my cash back for the X-Pro1 body yesterday which was 14 days after they received it, but lens demand may mean a longer wait.

As for pano's, the XT-1 is brilliant especially with a zoom lens. Same procedure as the X100.

Must run as I can feel a burning sensation in the pocket region and fear that the cheque is self-combusting. Better spend it quick!

It throws up loads of questions regarding my camera usage... Not about the xt1, that's a done deal. More so about a second camera, the fabled pocket one when you don't take the whole kit out

X-A1 arrived today, i'll get the claim form dealt with for the other lens and X-T1 ordered

I see you have made up your mind Davie and I am sure you shall be happy with it. I contemplated on doing the same but wound up with a Pentax K30, slightly larger , a little heavier but at a price of £450. Had it for about a week now and I'm happy. Good luck to you though.

Thanks Ivar, it's a gamble moving away from what i know but i think it'll be fine. the only question is now, which back up to keep
