i've always thought of landscape photography as an extreme sport , for me that means climbing waterfalls, hanging off cliffs with people holding my belt etc .... get the shot no matter what

I can imagine. I've always reserved it for pleading for mercy. Apparently it can also be used when requesting funding for new lenses etc.

I think the furthest I've gone was on a day out taking my socks and shoes off and paddling in a river to get the correct angle for a bridge only problem was I ended up in a hole to my waist lol

When I first looked at the set Pete posted and saw the second photo in the set I thought, wow, she dropped it.

I go to some wild places for my photos, places that require quite a bit of energy and skill to get too but I don't think I'd hand myself and my camera over the edge to get THE shot.
