Tonights Super Moon

Well tonight the moon was at it's closest to earth. I went up the hill to shoot a timelapse of the sun going down and the moon coming up. Fail! after 45mins shooting 1 frame every 3 seconds the moon started to rise........................Out of frame!!!
Oh well, revert to the old faithfull 400mm with 1.4x converter.

I thought about it too, but the timing was wrong for me (couldn't get out there into a suitable locale while the moon was still low) and I figured some other RPFers would get better pictures of it than me anyway. Like the one above! (I'll wait till next year.)
