Too Much Flair

Wish I had got mair of the ceiling, in particular the arch, instead of so much of that tiled flair, lovely though it may be. I think I hurried my shot to get the dad and the wee boy in the picture.

It's Union Station in Los Angeles.

Mamiya 7 and Kodak Portra 160.

i don't know, i think i like it better as it is. when i scroll higher (and maybe it is because the top of the arch is missing) it feel's cramped at the bottom. i think part of the problem is the tables on the left. maybe stepping back a couple more feet would have given you enough room to keep the bottom and top in tact.

love the ceiling. the father and son do add to the comp., i like their inclusion. they balance out the tables on the left.

I can see what Beth means. From the position though, if you'd have included the top of the arch you'd have lost the lead line from the right and would have needed to correct the perspective. I like it Brian.
