Whoa!! Amazing again Darren!
How long was the exposure? In fact, what's the settings on the last shot?

Cheers DD,

Canon 7D
24-70mm
Manual Mode
Exposure 2 seconds,
F/22
ISO 100
Shady WB (helps make the real orange sunset skies even warmer / orangey)
2 Graduated Cokin Square ND Filters (Gradual Grey Medium ND Filter & Gradual Grey Light ND filter)

that's it really just a little contrast & sharpen in LR

He was being modest! :D

Flippin' amazing colours Darren

#2 is my fave - you have the sea nice and milky with a bit of motion, but you still have a nice wet beach to reflect the sunset

So how did you have the two grads set-up then?

Cheers folks

What I was getting at was.... :D Assume they are grad filters? were they both on at the same time?

Did one grad cover the sky and the other the ground?

Just trying to figure out how you used two at once! :D :D :D

oooooo right i understand you know :o

In the kit there where 3 strengths of ND Grad, i used the 2 strongest, dark side up for the sky, levelled more or less with horizon.

i suppose the 3rd could be upside down if need be to help get slower shutter speeds for foreground.

Seem to work anyhow, cos it was all an experiment i didnt really have a clue lol
