Excellent Jim. He's looking a tad nervous. I think he's beginning to suspect that the person he's waiting for might not have been entirely truthful with their description!

Actually there are quite a few 'stories' hiding in here the more I look. The two people in the doorway, both sending texts. The young lady behind the shoulder of the main subject. Are these potential couples? Blind dates waiting for the person to show up not realising they are right in front of them. So much tension in just one frame. I like this the more I look at it - atruly modern tale.

What you mean instead of the beautiful lady in the photograph he was sent for a moment he suspects he has been set up by The Man In The Hat and is just another photography victim?
Yes it is interesting that just for that moment the people in the photograph would seem to have some form of commonality between them other than just happening to be in the frame.

I echo what others say Jim and would expand on what Chris says about the guy. He also made me laugh when I opened the page, his body language, shifty uncomfortable look , wonderment, there is a sensation that you have helped to provoke where the photographer has influenced the image for the better becoming integral to the whole experience that the viewer gets.
