Very Late Spring

Today in the botanics, and I've remembered the colour switch on the DP3 Merrill :)...all original jpgs. I'm doing Raw + JPEG these days, keeping the RAW in case I get a good un...Some cropping here and there, likewise a little darkening on one or two.

Robert Louis Stevenson:

Sir, have an eye, on where you tread,
And keep your heart with fear,
For something lingers here
A touch of April not yet dead,
In Autumn when the woods are red
And skies are grey and clear.

Wonderful set Rob. I'm a fan of seasons...each having different pleasures and pains. Fall for me is the calm before the storm...the color before the black And white of winter. You have captured and presented feelings.

I'll 2nd that - the blue flower shot is just stunning Rob

It's actually quite funny that we all like the same one. Of course I like many of the others too, the one before and the one after in particular. Now psychologically blue always catures the eye of the viewer.

Glad you switched to colour for these Rob and a lovely set of results you've ended up with.
You have now found your Halloween mask in rake image, don't tell Dan.
I agree with the lads on the blueplant shot ; they look as though they are about to melt into each other, but I have a real soft spot for the horizontal branch and it's simplicity but would prefer it without the extra bit of branch on the left. Also, the feather on plant is excellent.
