Watch out for scammers

I'm sure most people here would welcome the idea that they could turn their photos into cash.

Well, I came across this site via a Facebook advert, that seriously claims that people using just their cellphone cameras are able to market and sell stock photos online.

The whole thing smells fishy - and then you get to the pitch - just send them $37 and they'll send you their fabulous E-Book telling you 'everything you need to start making money immediately with photographs'

LMAO - do people actually fall for this cr@p :D

The 'pitch' video is the cheesiest thing ever!!

If it works that well surely taking photos and getting the money for them would be a longer lasting money tree than selling the "secrets" ... If everyone knows the secret then surly it won't work any more ... ?? Load of old shite that if you ask me!

Hamish - that video is one of those 'make your own' efforts you can do online

Maybe you should do one as the press release - two photographers talking about RPF (and slagging-off other sites subtly) LOL

We could do one where two people with silly Internet nick names have a row with each over canon vs. nikon ... Then two people who use their real names agreeing it doesn't matter and talking about how to achieve a good photo somehow ... Or something ... I'll think about it ... To be fair, Greg and Joe could prob animate somthing too

What we could do with would be one of those animations with the people talking crap and have a coupls of real people walk into shot and start having a more interesting conversation ... Now that would be cool I reckon ...
