Thanks for looking :)

now that seems to be a great lens............great photo to, really like the OOF background, make your girls really stand out..........great work DD

Might seriously start looking into the bokeh swirl/bubbly/dreamy lenses, when I get some money.

Hamish, anyone?? Do you have any recommendations?

Cheers H,

My pockets are very shallow, so looking for a cheap one.
Have you any experience with the other helios lenses..... 44-m, 1,3,4 etc?

Much for muchness really, they certainly won't give you anything particularly new ... I think the later ones have better coatings so are probably a little more contrasty

Telephoto? Wide?

Meyer lenses are a good place to start, often fairly inexpensive with often noteworthy character.

Or stick with the Russians and go for an old jupiter-9 ...

Or a Helios 40 ... If your feeling a bit more flush! That would certainly give you a lot more of what you like!

Ha! Thanks, nice subtle hint there. :)
I'll give it a go.......

Thanks H, I'll have look out for the Jupiter 9. I've heard nothing but goodness from those lenses.

Thanks Paul.
In a way, I'm very appreciative that they get on better than other siblings I have witnessed. But as kids are kids, they do have their moment more often than not. They are marvellous together as a photo.

I'm sure you get the "aw aren't they gorgeous and well behaved" when out and about as well, generally by the older generation who have lived a life of hard discipline and have not experienced a 'modern (show off)(you know exactly what I mean))' tantrum............ If only they saw the mischievous side..... Oscar on the other hand..... Is a diamond...... For now o_O

Dan - grab these shots now before they get all sensitive

I had a 'no photos. no photos' from my 3 year old granddaughter over the weekend - the cheek! :D
