5D MKII HD Video

One of the big selling points of the 5D MKII for many, is the ability of the camera to shoot full HD 1080p video.

You get the full DSLR functionality, plus you get to use your Canon lenses for video!

This was not a key selling point for me, in fact I didn't really think about it until I'd bought the camera, but it is kind of cool.

So today, I thought I'd give it a spin - just to see how it looked.

Here's a quick 1:25 sampler - shot with the 28-70 f2.8L and the 50 f1.4 lenses

Looks like you can set YouTube to a max of 720 HD in the bottom Right corner once you've pressed play...

If you're looking at this on the iPad, you won't see the video - click this link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IlKpewBCum4&hd=1

All quickly chopped together in iMovie :p
