#7 Pacific Surfliner Series - Crossing Trestles

Trestles is a world famous surfing beach, North of San Diego - near to San Onofre.

It's kind of hidden away, there's no parking-lot, and you have to walk a mile on a trail to get to the beach.

When you get there, as well as the 3 killer surfing breaks, there's an impressive railroad trestle across the San Mateo Creek & Lagoon - soon to be replaced with a concrete structure

Here's the Pacific Surfliner heading North across the trestle, as the Pacific waves break on the beach.

Now I've scouted the location, I think I'll return one evening for a 'sunset' shot ;)

Nice! I join Pete in looking forward to the sunset shot. A few clouds and it would be spectacular.
