7D firmware update 2.0.3

I updated the firmware on my 7D from 1.2.5 to the latest 2.0.3, and now my burst rate for continuos shooting high speed has dropped from 8 frame buffer to 3. According to the update i should be getting at least 15 frames in RAW. Anybody now anything about this? I've tried installing 2.0.0 and it's still 3 frames. The update says i can't roll back to 1.2.5 but i'm looking for one to download and try.

Sometimes it's better just to leave things alone.

change high iso noise reduction setting from high to standard
