Ha, a very very good guess Dave,
They are a pile of baskets, but slide in storage baskets for the kids wardrobe.
Got bored whilst assembling. Lol

Normally you would associate these kinds of geometric images with something futuristic, maybe Tron-like? Quite interesting that instead this is very retro and "low-fi" with the hairs, dust and carpet in the background.
